Introduction to the Stone Sisters

Tamara moved to the Okanagan Valley from Edmonton when she was 2 years old and Shannon was born here. This gives us an intimate understanding of the community and different neighbourhoods. We realize how fortunate we are to live and raise our families here and we love helping others do the same.

Kelowna is a diverse and energetic city to live in. Whether you enjoy running (Mission Creek Greenway is so beautiful), beaching (Sarsons beach and Bertram are two of our favourites), watching a hockey game (Go Rockets Go! www.kelownarockets.com ) or enjoying a glass of award winning wine (www.missionhillwinery.com) while admiring the lake, valley and vineyard views – Kelowna has something for everyone! We would love to share some of the locals’ secrets with you.

Our parents (Bruce and Patti Stone) began selling real estate in Kelowna many years ago (1978 for Bruce and 1985 for Patti) and they taught us a tremendous amount (we learned real estate negotiating skills at the dining room table). Though Bruce and Patti no longer have their real estate licenses (they retired in 1999 and 2002) they like to remain involved and we meet frequently to discuss our marketing strategies.  There is incredible value in having a sounding board to run ideas by.

Tamara has been a licensed realtor since 1995, with market experience covering a broad range of buying and selling opportunities. When Shannon brought her marketing degree and expertise to join her sister in 2005, they became a dynamic team focused on achieving the best results for their clients on every purchase or sale. Says Shannon, “Our relationship with our clients is seamless, which really gives them the benefit of two realtors for the price of one!”

We are a high energy team who pride ourselves on thinking outside the box and finding creative ways to make our clients wishes come true. We believe one of the keys to doing so is our awareness of current market conditions and opportunities and our ability to communicate effectively with our team and our clients.
